๐Ÿ  Dashboard

Your home base in SysHub โ€” manage projects, view collaborations, and track your assigned tasks.

Overview

After signing in you land on the Dashboard (/dashboard). The dashboard is your central hub with three tabs: Projects, Collabs, and My Tasks. A sticky header at the top provides navigation, notifications, and account controls.

Dashboard Tabs

The tab bar sits just below the header. Tabs with pending items show a small badge count.

Tab What it shows Badge
Projects Projects you own โ€”
Collabs Projects/products you collaborate on; pending invites Count of received invites
My Tasks All tasks assigned to you across all projects Count of open tasks

Projects Tab

The Projects tab lists all projects you own. Each project is shown as a card (list or gallery view) with its name, creation date, and a quick-action menu.

Clicking a project card opens the Project Detail page.

Creating a Project

  1. On the Projects tab, click the New Project button (top-right, indigo).
  2. A modal dialog opens. Enter a project name (required) and an optional description.
  3. Click Create Project. The new project appears in your list immediately.
๐Ÿ’ก
If you have no projects yet, a large empty-state prompt with a New Project button is shown in the centre of the tab.

Sort & View Modes

The Projects tab toolbar lets you control how projects are displayed.

Control Options
Sort Date (newest first by default) or Name (Aโ€“Z). Click the arrow to reverse direction.

Archiving Projects

Projects you no longer actively use can be archived to keep the list tidy.

โ„น๏ธ
Archiving a project does not delete it or its products. All data is preserved.

Collabs Tab

The Collabs tab shows all collaboration activity โ€” projects and products shared with you, invites you have sent, and invites you have received.

View modes

Two view modes are available via the toggle icons in the top-right of the tab:

Mode Description
By Scope (list icon) Groups collaborations by account, project, and product level. Shows pending invites you sent and received.
By Person (people icon) Groups all collaborations by the person (collaborator email), showing what they have access to.

Pending invites received

When someone invites you to collaborate, a pending invite appears in the Collabs tab (and the tab badge increments). You can Accept or Decline each invite directly from this view.

๐Ÿ’ก
You can also accept or decline invites from the Notifications bell in the header.

Leaving a collaboration

To remove yourself from a project or product you were invited to, find it in the Collabs tab and use the Leave action on the collaboration card.

My Tasks Tab

The My Tasks tab aggregates every task assigned to you across all projects and products you have access to.

โ„น๏ธ
Tasks appear here only when they have been explicitly assigned to you. See Chapter 6 โ€” Tasks for how to assign tasks.

Notifications

The bell icon in the top-right header opens the Notifications panel. A red badge shows the count of unread notifications.

Icon Notification type
๐Ÿ“‹ A task was assigned to you
๐Ÿ  Account-level collaboration invite
๐Ÿ“ Project-level collaboration invite
๐Ÿ“ฆ Product-level collaboration invite
๐Ÿ”ฉ Part-level collaboration invite

Dark / Light Mode

SysHub supports both light and dark themes. To toggle:

  1. Click your user avatar (indigo circle, top-right) to open the account menu.
  2. Click Dark mode or Light mode to switch. The label and icon update to reflect the current state.

Your preference is saved and persists across sessions.
